The CA18DET lower intake manifold and the CA16DE upper intake manifold test fit together.

Comparing the 2 lower intake manifolds, the CA18DET unit (top) does not pass the coolant through to the upper manifold like the CA16DE unit (bottom).
These coolant passages and coolant sensor are not necessary if you retain the CA18DET lower manifold.
